BLUENOSE MUSIC CONTEST DESCRIPTION
 

The BlueNose writing contests are designed to engage every student in a creative activity that will improve their literacy skills and increase their desire to become more effective communicators.

This year there are three distinct mediums of expression: song writing, sports writing, and scriptwriting.

The free standards-based lesson plans from Holt McDougal help guide your instruction.

You are encouraged to enrich the program with your own imagination and feedback from your students and share it with the education community through our Outreach section of the BlueNose site.
 
A panel of judges comprised of educators and leaders in the three fields of Music, Sports Journalism, and Film will judge the entries.
