LEARNING STANDARD

  • Write a summary of a movie or other literary form that includes the main ideas and most significant details and uses the student's own words 

 

PROCEDURE

  • Before beginning, explain to the students that screenwriting is the art and craft of writing scripts for film, television, video games, and other visual media
     
  • A script is the written document on which a film or other visual form is based
     
  • It will describe the plot, characters, setting, and other elements needed to create the film
     
  • Most of the script will be the lines that the characters speak in the film.
