Dr. Michael Milone

Dr. Michael Milone

Dr. Michael Milone, an award-winning educational writer and consultant to publishers and school districts, earned a PhD from Ohio State University and a Master of Arts degree from Gallaudet University.

He recently served on the board of directors of Edpress, the Association of Educational Publishers, and is a member of the Technology and Literacy Committee of the International Reading Association.

Over the past twenty years, Dr. Milone has been involved in a broad range of publishing projects, working with such renowned names in education as Open Court Reading, Prentice Hall, Harcourt, LeapFrog, and The Learning Company.

He has co-authored and written chapters in textbooks dealing with computers, gifted education, special education, reading management, research on handwriting, and learning styles, and is widely recognized as an expert in educational publishing within K-12 education circles.
